Question for ppl running a lot of accounts on one pc

I personally have not experienced any noticeable increases in lag.

I did run afowl of their truebox VM detection. One of my machines only had an off brand SSD which caused the "world server to refuse the connection".

Thankfully they fixed that with the patch to the patch.

Cpuload would likely conflict with eqwire but I’m not sure. Eqwire manages to push background clients down into the <1% cpu usage the majority of the time. Making sure your cpuaffinity for the Eqclient is set to -1 if it’s not already may also help.

I haven't used EQWire. I just loaded it up and will test it out.

I did use CPU for a while and still have it loaded. I'm not sure it does anything for me since I have 2 CPUs with 12 cores in each.

I do use Process Lasso Pro and put eqgame and macroquest programs to a higher priority so my porn doesn't slow down my game play.

If you have more cores then EQ clients MQ2CPULoad will do nothing for you.

All MQ2CPULoad does is move EQ clients around on the CPU cores to keep them load balanced. It will ask the OS to move the foreground client to the least used CPU.

I wrote it back when I was running 6-9 toons on a quad core and it made a huge difference in responsiveness when you alt tab between clients in order to interact with things.

Similar issue.

I'm running in to a similar issue with characters becoming unresponsive through EQBC. I took about 5 months off so I am not sure what is causing the change. I started back about a week and a half ago.

I run a standard 6 box setup. Playing for 12-15 hour intervals.

It will occur randomly, noticing between 8 and 10 hours+

My Tank/Healer/Shammy will respond without issue, they never experience a delay/unresponsive command. My DPS set in to a sub channel "DPS" will stop responding. They dont disconnect. I can still /bct them for commands.

The only solution I have found is to unload MQ from all accounts and restart MQ2/EQBCS.

restart eqbc
another site seems to have fixed the issue w bcs, I didnt pay alot of attn to the problem and how they fixed it, but there is an issue w it for sure

the whole unresponsive thing was happening to me, I have tried alot of things including just plain restarting eqbc

There is some MQ2EQBC changes coming in next update which should be tomorrow. Hopefully this resolves the problem.
