The top post in this forum about Computer Resorces and tricks to help the computers out running EQ are my reason for posting this question.

I went thru them religiously, because I run 3 chars on one computer, and have a crappy computer for my 2nd computer.

Out of 4 computers (2 are my wife's) ....in the new expansion's zones...my two computers just show dark grey for most of the landscapes, but my wife's 2 computers show it fine.

So I'm wondering if I turned something off with the resources..and if anyone else is having this issue.

Even after adjusting the Gamma Settings? Outside of that, not sure what it could be...

Might want to check Hardware Transform & Lighting (T & L)...

open advanced options and turn on vertex shaders 1.1 problem should be fixed

edit: in EQ of course.

In Display, Advanced, seeing

Allow hw vertex shader
allow 1.1 pixel shader


but not 1.1 vertex


(shrug) turning both on and logging chars into the new zones to see.
