Wondering if any MMOBugs members are regular users of usenet?

I previously used private torrent sites, such as RevoTT.

However due to the way bandwith costs in Australia, keeping a decent ratio was only possible via donating, and that just got too expensive in the end.

I then moved to Usenet, with an astraweb subscription, and used Newzbin2 for ages. Then they got shut down, so I joined up with NZBMatrix. However this week has also seen the closure of this site.

So has anyone got any recommendations on a new indexing site? I don't mind paying if need be, it just needs to be user friendly so my wife can navigate it aswell

Newzbin changed their URL to http://www.newzbin2.es/ a while ago and I had been using them just a few days ago. I noticed they are shut down now too. They do give an explanation for why they shut down (mostly financial).

Bummer because I just bought some more time on my membership.

Few days ago? Yeah, they've been shut down for a few weeks now.

I've been using USENET since the 90's. I was a Newzbin user, then NZBmatrix.

Currently I'm simply finding things on my own like the old days and/or using http://binsearch.info/

Yeah, I know of and do use Binsearch, it just makes it really hard for my non technical wife to use

I have just had a play with the built-in indexer of Sick Beard and it seems to be OK with keeping up to TV shows.

Most of the indexes have closed ranks now too.
No invites, no registrations.

A lot seem to be turning to building and running their own newznab site.

Newzbin and nzbmatrix both got shutdown back to back, kinda sucks having to go back to shitty ass slow torrents Are there any good indexing sites still left? Newzbin was the best, I do use binsearch from time to time but it doesn't really index the files the way newzbin or nzbmatrix did.
