Assuming that you are hunting for the Fabled Quillmane, you may not be able to count on the zone being empty when you have time to hunt - which may make an MQ warping mcro less of an option. So while I know that you say you have looked at the strats, look again at:

I got one for my cleric in about 45 minutes in '07 using the info from these threads, using a low-50s druid (tracker) and my main. Basically all the info you need is in the top couple posts on either page. I'd say just look through the first few posts on as they all say pretty much the same thing (a lot clearer than what was posted on '07) and if you try to read it
all then yes, it is confusing as heck.
If you haven't tried tracking for fast respawn mobs like these describe, it does sound pretty confusing. But if you have a tracker, head to South Karana and give it a try. This was my first (and last) time trying sometning like that and it took less than 10 minutes to get the hang of it.
