Problem with mqui_docrkwnd

Whenever I try to load everquest with a modified equi.xml file (located in my ui/default folder) the game will crash after selecting what server I want to play on.

What is funny is that I've got 2 separate installs of EQ (2 different harddrives) and on one EQ will load fine (and I can bring up the docrkwnd) and the other it will crash with everything being identical.

Any ideas?

I would suggest copying your entire uifiles folder from the pc that works to your one that doesnt then see if you still crash.

I'll look into this when I have time, should not "crash" eq for a dupe xml (sounds like that's the problem). Make sure you don't have an entry in your equi.xml for MQUI_DoCrackWnd.xml (i.e., no include tag for it), before you start EQ. It will get added to your UI properly on the fly.

If that's not it, provide more details, e.g. turn on debugspew and look in there, or check UIErrors.txt, etc.
