Plugin MQ2SoundControl

The MQ2SoundControl plugin works fine when you are playing EQ, but when you next attempt to log in it will stop the patcher and crash EQ when you click on Play - it keeps coming up with an everquest sound error.

It does the same on 2 seperate PC's with different accounts. Both loaded/played EQ fine when the plugin was disabled on the configuration program.

Shame it's not working as I hate those stupid horse mount sounds!!!

You can turn sound off in your eqclient.ini file.

I've been using it to disable specific sounds, not all of them.


I like the majority of the in-game sounds, it's just that stupid annoying horse sound every 30 seconds that drives me mad.

Has anyone had a look at this plugin as it's still useless once you next log in as it crashes the game.

I've confirmed the MQ2SoundControl crash.

Just having the plugin loaded and launching a EQ window will crash you. I'll have it looked into.

How long has it been crashing Wolfy?
