help with crash problem

lately i have been crashing alot lately and this is what comes up

it happens when im not using MMO and when i am using and i ahve all my sounds off

What are your machine specs? I crashed ALL The time with my old setup that was horrible, now with my new comp I never crash. <knocks on wood>

nvidia 7700 gefore go
XP with service pack3 and drivers to go with.

cant remember but i think he has 3 gigs of ram (might be 2)

Dont remember much about the laptop.

ok i dont knwo what to do it is still doing it, it dose it alot more when im using mq2 but dose it less when i dont but still dose it, Smarty had posted the specs, but i just reinstalled XP with service pack3 just a few days ago

Does it happen while boxing or just while having one instance of EQ up?

it happens while i am boxing and when im not, happened to me all night tonight doing it every 30 - 45 mins

open your browser , on the right top corner click on tools. then click on internet options clean all cookies and temp files first.
After you do that in the same window click on settings , select Veiw Objects , then select all and hit update . close out the internet browser . and that should fix ur issue. hope it helps

Might not hurt to run the patcher and perform a full check on your EQ files, maybe you have a corrupt file..

im having run time error issues with or without mq being used every hour or so i get booted on one or more toons

anyone have some solution ideas for this?

tried the web browser tip in this post and no luck

any help would be greatly appreciated

Tons of things to try.

1. Make sure all your components are up to date.
2. Make sure DirectX is up to date.
3. Make sure your Operating System is up to date.
4. Make sure your computer is clean of bloatware, spyware, and virii.
5. Make sure your RAM is good.(memtest)
6. Make sure your Video Card is good.(Stress test via 3dmark)
7. Make sure your Processor is good.(Stress test via Prime95)
8. Make sure your windows system file structure is good.(System File Checker)
9. Delete your eqclient.ini, userdata folder, all uifiles(custom and default), all files containing your character name and let it rebuild. * This will cause you to lose your window,hotkeys, and other customizations *
10. Try setting your resolution on your desktop to the same as you use in EQ.
11. Make sure your folder/file permissions for EQ are not set to read-only.
12. Perform a disk check on your hard drive.(ScanDisk or CheckDisk)
