Giving an item to an NPC, help please =)

I was just wondering if anyone could let me know how to take and item from my inventory and give it to an NPC. It's in an AFK environment, and i can't set my cursor anywhere because the toon will be warping all over the place. Thank you in advance for any help =)

Welcome , but careful using it too much, because (I think) your character's model visibly warps for a second.
