Free J1 Mercs

i re-read the title, i have t5 mercs and was required to pay, can any one confirm if there is a way to get it to work with any thing other than T1J? or even that it does work for a T1J?

It was fixed like the 1st week mercs were released.
Why it was reposted as if it was new is beyond me.

just before this patch i do the manip several time to change switch heal melee merc you must have 10 kpp on your char unshrouded then you can shroud you level 56 buy merco with desired named and tier that work with all )
once you get the merc you want unshroud you say yes when asked to pay for upgrade and they didnt take money but you need to put yes as response
i dunno if it work after patch ;

confirmed using merco to not pay the merco is nerfed ;
