The Unborrowing

Anyone have any specific set up they use for the earlier waves? with the stun bubble some of the mobs just don't mez.

Chitinguards are the only ones that are not effected by the AE stun, for that wave your clerics need to be ready and your tanks need to be awake. Have tanks grab them befor they get to enchanters or they will slaughter your enchanters.

How do you handle the ae rampage inside the stun bubble? don't the chanters get raped?

Do your chanters set up an ae stun rotation or do they just spam it? we are trying to figure this out atm

You are going to want them doing some type of rotation, since them all doing it at the same time makes no sense at all. with 4 enchanters we lose one now and then, but with 5 they seem to lock it down easy and rarely lose one.

during wave vs and root mobs. set your raid in the back and leave some room between waves. Use your chanters and your rangers/druid to root/mez mobs. Kite minis and bring them 1 by 1 to the raid. Have druid charm the beetles to the raid to assist on the dps. Once minis dead kill beetles than main guy. During waves the shells got to die fast or you eat ae. It a fine tunning raid. Use cop and mini discs right off the hope to help out to burn raids. Rez battle during waves.

Druids charm?

Fun with the new root! seems now u have to tank them all

just tried i9t again using boxed enchanters and it makes it a hell of alot easier, got to wave 4.

Edit: NM - Had the wrong event and figured it out.

Hey guys looking for some general advice here, I know every guild functions differently.

Our guild currently clears all the 6 waves of adds with out very many problems (Might lose a lazy dps or a tank or 2). When we get the adds it gets fairly bad.

I'm wondering, Do most guilds Kite adds? If So How do you deal with the root? Hate stepping Shadowknights with bst Snared mini named?

It seems like, 3 tanks pre target the mini named and kite them in the far right area. Charmers charm the bugs, Pull the mini named over to the group 1 by one and kill them, and start killing the bugs. When named goes active, Warrior kites?

do you kill them in any certain order? And is that damn root cureable? Do they cast it often? We tend to start fairly well but the Root is killing us in short order.

Any thoughts / info added is always appreciated.

I find beast snaring to be a pain in the ass. Not sure if our kiters are running a bad path or what but the beastlord pets always seem to die to some AE nuke.

I'll give u the win strat not some tid bits... First off is kill order Mage leenax, 3 beetles, then other 2 mages last proto... On initial pull a war sets up out front and hits his fortitude disc while ae taunting all, sks begin beetle kite, 2 other wars pick up the other 2 mages and spread them out east... Raid burns down leenax with dps discs, raid then kills off 1 beetle at a time, while this is going on have your enchanters cast lurch on each of the other 2 mages and have your wars keep hate on them (lurch will take a bit to get used to, have chanters play with it).. Have 2 wars ready to kite proto when he becomes active, it is very important to have at least 2 priests casting corruption cures on the proto kiters or they will get rooted... Gluk

If you have decent knights, and healers, just tank all 3 magrix with paladins. We start off by killing 1 multabeetle since they are harder to tank then magrix are. Then we do a magrix and then another beetle, then magrix and beetle. When Prot spawns we kite with 1 pally and have another pally chain casting splash of purification on them incase he roots.

Need a little bit of help guys. Is there an ideal spot to set up, or a general spot or formation to set up enchanters atleast? We are getting down to like 1 or 2 mobs left in a wave, and when new wave happens some mobs are getting to far out raping DPS/Tanks.

Enchanter stuns have a significant push to them. Have you enchanters face backward to help push mobs back to your raid rather than further away from it.

have 1 SK blow their Deflection disc on inc, and keep ae taunting, 12 seconds is a lot of time to get things under control.

Especially on wave 4-+

we do Pallys on waves 3 & 4, then Sk's do 5&6 with deflection
