Servers Up/Down plugin request

Would love a plugin that tells us when the servers come back up (like immediate not 5minutes after the servers are up) and it just causes a popup on our screen saying 'The servers are live' ... I would love to be able to play another game and not have to watch the login servers.

if this is possible, someone should do it

Once you are in EQ, so that a plugin could work, you'd sort of know about that already, one would hope.

There is also an app for this in the Apple store, just search for SOEstatus.

What other platforms would people be interested in this for? I was just looking at the developer API that Sony now publishes, and it appears to be fairly easy to program for it. I am planning on working on a Windows Phone 7 version, and possibly an android version if people are interested. I was looking for a quick project to work on
