Lately, I'm having trouble getting the box to stay up. I'm having to /dpsadv show every time I zone. How do I make it permanently open?

add this in your /mq2/configs/ folder.
if you have a zoned.cfg there already just add /dpsadv show to the existing one. then it will issue that command automatically every time you zone.
I am seeing the same issue. Everytime zoned, "Esc to close" is clicked, "Locked" is not clicked.
When I hit esc, many times the dps window will be accidentally killed.
Seems Dpsadv is not saving the settings.

This works for me.
In Everquest folder, Look for UI file, there is a [DPSAdvWnd] section, change
Escapable=0
Locked=1
save and relog EQ should fix this.
