Wasn't sure where to post this so I made a new thread.

Chanty is CTD constantly w MQ2Bot on. This just started since last might release of MQ2 Test update.

Update: crashing all toons on this computer so I am going to reboot. Other computers working fine. MQ2 not CTD.

Update 2: seems to be only pet classes that are crashing. Chanty, mage, beast - did happen on 2nd computer. I am trying to send the full report.

Since you are on test,

Do you happen to notice, on zone (load/change), are your toon mana bars missing often?
For me, the group window shows mana bars, the personal window seems to miss them, but sometimes they display.
The toon actually has mana and ${Me.PctMana} or whatever show correct values, but the bar in that window seems to be missing a lot of the time.
 
All mana bars currently showing. will keep an eye out for this.
 
My casters are not constantly crashing, I can play mostly reliably.
Not sure what other thing might be causing problems but elsewhere people were having issues if DoCrack was loaded. I don't use it so it could be that is a difference between us.
 
My mana bars are missing often. Pets aren't attacking unless manually done.
 
I need to get all MQ2 files on test server updated to where they are on live. I tried to do it about four days ago but after a few hours messing with it I ran into some problems I couldn't solve without some smart peoples help (Htw or Brainiac).

My todo list is getting pretty huge at the moment due to these patches breaking stuff, but full test server update is high on the list.
 
Since I moved zone to something else, my caster crash rate is much higher. I loose a caster about once every 3-5 mins. CTD.

I'm getting a bunch of other annoying transient things, like at one point all the toons decided npc enemies were friendly, and friends were enemies, unloading mq2bot and reloading didn't help, closing EQs totally solved it.

Inspect object window is randomly taking the session into a total lock, then unlocking maybe 2 mins later. Session rushes to process all the queued stuff.

My CTD is definitely a pet class thing. Other toons are working fine.

I sent a full crash report just now. It somehow tied to MQ2bot.

I routinely have missing mana bars now in the group window.
 
Deleted the mq2bot file, and let it download again from updater, and all seems well now for me. Other than the mana bar thing

Edit: maybe not, wizzy quit working. relogged him. then mage stopped working. quit sending in pet :(

Just to update this thread since folks are posting about it, Pete posted a new version of MQ2bot that had more debug info. I used this and posted him as much info as I could about my wiz casting spam, and also the mana bar disappearing.

I'm sure Pete will be able to put a version of the bot up when he has time to look at it, that stops the casting error spam stuff. If we're lucky he might be able to track down the cause of the mana bar disappearing too.

You can work around the problem on wiz, by casting all the self buff (spells not aa) the bot would list / cast. The problem is the bot cannot mem self buff spells currently and gets stuck trying to cast them.

I didn't see it having an issue with other type of spells but maybe, I don't know. Someone had an issue with a necro, it's probably the same thing.

/bot on -> look at the self buff list, make sure you either have them on you, or have them mem'd. For me the specific problem was the wiz's armor spell, which is a rune. When wiz got damaged, the self buff dropped, and bot couldn't mem it to recast it.

I can confirm this is not an MQ problem as I was and am seeing this just in normal EQ. Mana and End bars go away sometimes and won't come back unless I target the toon. Has always come back on targetting though.

hrmm my wizzies don't spam they just stop entirely.. if i never /bot off they keep working tho
 
spam meant spam attempts at casting a specific spell that fails and doesn't indicate what.
It just was MQ2Cast timestamp errors appearing every 20s or so.
 
Upgraded to windows 10. No problems anymore! woo!

edit: oh cept shaman won't heal mage pet if he has his own pet, but all my other problems vaporized

edit: back to mage pet not being sent in issue if /bot on, /bot off too many times
