difficulty of upgrade

i currently am running windows xp home addition on my computer i have a windows xp 64-bit disc though. was wondering how difficult it would be to install the 64-bit version? my computer runs mirrored raid so i believe i will have to stripe them and install that way and then reinstall the raid drivers but im not sure how much of a project that will be or where i can acquire a copy of the raid drivers. also i believe installing 64-bit version will reformat my drive is this correct?

85%-90% of the time upgrading from 1OS to another or 32bit-64bit do require a full format and fresh install. Once you install the 64bit you do have to redo your raid setup.
