Wrong Version work around

Isn't there a way to run an older version of EQ.exe to use until MMO is updated?

If so, does anyone have the correct EQ.EXE which will work with the current MMO compile... thanks.

No, there is no work around till eqmule updates MQ2 and then htw or Fry makes a new compile here.

Programming is like black magic mumbo jumbo looking stuff to me, but I think what you're thinking of had to do with EQ being up and playable with MQ2, but you can't log on, because sometimes they update the loader without doing anything else. That's where you can fall back to an older loader to get in.

IRC says current version is 7/31. Usually says "BORKED" for version date when it is down.

Macroquest2.com usually changes the download filename to let you know it is not working. It lists its version date as 8/11.

Don't panic until a couple days pass. We have been spoiled with how fast the dev's have been.
