Wizard going oom

Hi guys I've recently come back to everquest and I'm finding my wizards are going OOM. Is this intended or am I doing something wrong? I'm using the same spell lineup I used in TDS where I never went OOM.

Any ideas?

I know that due to a recent patch, the AA nukes now have a mana cost associated with them. That may have something to do with you going OoM.

Yeah I was just reading that so I just disabled them all and will see how I go.

So far it seems turning those nuke AA off has done the trick. DPS is abut the same too. So those AA are now ruined?

Pretty much ruined your dps, since you have to turn them off and can't weave them between global cooldowns.

On top of that, I had a threshold set to stop casting Ethereals, if my mana fell below 5%, and switch over to Force line and 2-3 other spells which cost about 800 mana or less. Now that condition is totally useless as well.
