Anyone willing to help on Brain trial? We have the combine parts down pretty good, but we can't seem to figure out the way/time/order to use the clicks on the exponged evil/Miragul. If anyone does this for their guild and is willing to spill the beans that would be awesome!

yeah our guild is also stuck on this part anyone out there willing to help alittle bit please =)

Its not easy either. We parked adds by the burnt down area in front of the stairs. We killed the large skellies. This event is a roadblock period. As stated before expect and get battle rezzes done. She has a rune on her everytime she moves. Just gotta dps your arses off and grind it out. Not an easy raid but it is a feel good raid to finally finish.

Wrong thread, think your talking about Torches of Truth... ;)

Im not sure on Brain trial click order etc. Don't do any of that, i just know i hate Miragul at the end :S

Not to that one to try it but what I saw on another site was

Once all 25 mobs have been killed, a large blob called "Expunged Evil" bursts out of the chest and snakes its way up to Miragul`s Mind. Once the emotes start, target Miragul`s Mind and click the "Shining Power" and "Inspiring Power". Then click the "Spot of Bother" on the blob. This should complete the "brain" room

Finally got a win on this. Last part we range kill him. Only people in the room with him are the 2 tanks for the 100-80 and 80-0 parts. On the split into 3 all enter Beat mobs to 50% take 2 to 49 get out of the room and range kill last to 49 with only warriors in the room.

If anybody enters the room and leaves it starts a nasty viral dot that can kill alot if curers are not on it fast.

The DT on the last part isn't a viral anything - it's an aura that pops on you once you enter inside the the inner ring/room. You can easily pop back outside through one of the doorways, watch it drop from your buff bar, and then pop back in to keep killing. I can't imagine how long that event would take if you ranged it .... *shiver*

Here's another tip... look at the stacking on the room DT - basically, if you have any recourse-type spell on you already it'll block the DT from holding on you until its over. That means bard Lyssa, cleric promised line, druid promised line, etc, etc will keep the DT from landing on you for however long it's up. For a bard right now that means 50+ seconds without the DT clicking down at all, plus the 30 seconds or so you get to stand around before it actually fires. That is a lot of melee dps time.

On the first part of this event do people do all three at the same time? or magic and body and trigger brain last?

The Death Touch is not viral. But when you step out of the room to cure the DT it does trigger a DOT that hits everyone around you.

We always do Body and Magic then have all gate out banner back to sig and enter brain.

The dot you're talking about has nothing to do with the room DT. I've frankly never seen it. We've never had any issues with that before... are you talking about the stupid mobs that path around at the end that require rooting?

Spreading Evil: Single Target, Magic (-690)
1: Decrease HP when cast by 35000
2: Decrease Hitpoints by 10000 per tick (3 ticks)
3: Inhibit Melee Attacks by (70%)
4: Increase corruption counter by 20

NOTE: Spreading Evil is cast on random targets. After 6 seconds, it goes viral on everyone around the inflicted target. This should either be cured very quickly, or the inflicted target should quickly move away from the raid.

We just make the infected person move away from the raid for the 3 ticks... no biggie. Audiotrigger or GTT and you're fine. It has nothing to do with the room DT.
