Allas has a very good write up on this.

Last mob is about 4 times as hard as anything before it.

Found out it seems that the living lava dot although single target can go viral if somebody does not run when they get hit with it. First time we tried this on mob 10 we had no issues. Second time Somebody missed a run and we wiped due to nearly everybody getting the 15K dot.

Mainly curious what strats people are using on the last mob.
You have the living lava and one other single target emoted spells plus 2 30K zone wide (as best we could tell) AEs going off so you get hit with one about every 20-30 seconds.

Doing range fight did not seem to help other than having more people further from the melee to start if they got an emote.

We wiped on him at about 50-60%. Anybody win with something other than get in and burn as hard as possible. We just started tower a few months back so dont have the DPS of some that have farmed it for months.

If you get him close to dead, you can zerg him the rest of the way if everybody in your raid binds in PoK right next to the mission NPC. And obviously calling for the break right before the final boss is key too.

We just burn him..... If your guild throws an OMGWTF burn then u probably can get him dead in 30-60 seconds which means very few ae's

We're not all triality... 30-60 seconds to kill that final boss is some *serious* dps. It's zergable but yeah the ae's are quite mean.

The first time we did this, it seemed pretty straightforward. We were pretty shaken up after the Lavatic Behemoth, but had time to rez and recover in the 7 minute rest period, and took down the Amalgamated Behemoth with heavy healing.

The second and third time, we got AEs on inc from the Amalgamated guy. The one that stuns you, too. That threw people off and diverted healing and dps. We wiped the second time but won the third, although it took some zerging by zoning in from POK.

The fourth time, we got lucky again on AEs and also changed the strat a bit. We threw a pally in each melee group for some additional group heals, and they also set up a 'splash' rotation for attempting to cure the viral dot. It felt like a different event.

Seksi..... im not triality either never will be i refuse no matter how much they ask me

We went back and won this one.

Keys for us were keeping everybody in 2 tight groups Melee and casters and assigning paladins to be at each chaining splash. We also hit a MGB paragon, and MGB HOT on inc for a little extra healing. Then keep clerics right with the people they are healing so group heals work.

Other than that we through in every single DPS disc we had. Hit 151K DPS which was a high for us. Killed him in 2 minutes so about 18 million hps.

Noticed he also casts Phantasmal Transformation although was to busy to notice how he was changing people.

People running away or getting cured fast on living lava is critical. Emote is Living lava flows over your body, looking for others to engulf. Its not a yellow highlighted emote so need an audio trigger.

Paladins and rangers make this raid pretty trivial. Paladins chain splashing to cure the dots, and ranger 3rd spire making their entire group invulnerable to spells for about a minute and a half.

Paladin Spash does wonders.
Rotating it on the Final phase, and lava.

Paladin in each group = the win.
Double healers if you can.

MGB heals, and maxed dps.

1 shaman will unlikely keep a DPS group up.

SK epic was pretty impressive as well.

The Viral AE can be reduced on how many it hits by simply spacing people out. On final mob, just make sure if you range it, people aren't all bunched up together in one little corner. Spreading the raid out as much as possible helps prevent it spreading as bad. Obviously, melee will have issues no matter, so put pallies in thier groups for added healing if you can. Those who are spaced out more should take less dmg, leaving thier healers to focus on others.

Down side to spreading out is group heals are less effective and Paladin splash will not reach all. If you have 4 paladins in the raid they should be able to keep all cured if everybody stays in 2 large groups. Plus cleric group heals will hit everybody.

Spreading out may work for some. For us it was instant death.

This is the one fight that I do not complain about having to many rangers on though. Their spire makes it alot easier.
