anyone else have issue with rog failing to auto assist?
Anyone know what to change in ini to fix this issue?
Thanks

There is no config settings for mq2melee only a .dll file

/melee save

then go and look for the ini file listed for that toon and check the ini SECTION

So the new update removes all your mq2melee settings in the server_character.ini file?

oh gawd hell naw

i went to check my inis it always sucks to redo holyflags (done it once or twice me no likey)

melee section is fine

So what is this mqmelee ini file that keeps getting mentioned as being deleted?

I don't have any such file, even in my backups.

in your (Server)_(Character Name)

there are different sections this one is the melee section where u add holyflags tune settings etc

this one is a rogue's ini with nothing really fine tuned
make sure there are no entries that require you to be hidden and out of combat just like the assasinate line or thats where youll run into problems

using mq2bot is imo asking for problems with a rogue if you cant fine tune that part there too

a simple assist macro and a good melee ini (holy flags etc) is my recommendation if you are gonna box a rogue

I don't have any such file, even in my backups.

Until very recently, I've always had a mq2melee.ini

I know that you fine tune things for specific classes in their name_server.ini

As to why some have it and others don't... I can't comment. but usually, as an example, I'd have a mq2melee.dll + a mq2melee.ini and if it was missing, the .dll would not act normal and cause headaches.

Odd, I checked my backup mq2 folders and I don't have this mq2melee.ini file.

There is not one provided by default, and using defaults for the spawn types & engagement keys requires no INI (what 99.9% will use). You would only create/use one (mq2melee.ini) if you want to override it. I have it in our wiki: MQ2Melee - MMOBugs Wiki
