Hey guy, I’m starting my own business soon and I’m looking to create a website. I’m curious what’s the best option for hosting? It will be for a small e-commerce business, but will need to be able to utilize the Shopify applications for payment processing and online shopping cart. I also care about security options available.

Any suggestions as to which hosting service I should look into?

Thanks!

Heya,

There are a few decent options out there.

Wix.com

GoDaddy.com

volusion.com

Even Yahoo small business or Google's version are great sites to help you start out.

All depends really on how simple to complicated you might wanna go.

Hope this helps a little.

Used Wix in the past for some small businesses. Was very easy with their premium package to tie in all the drag & drop apps and snippets. Made the website robust with no coding knowledge, and it actually validated for dynamic mobile styling as well!

Very little commerce was done on the website though, so one of the basic free shopping cart apps was used. Used Gmail for the domain email.

Edit: Check out their various WYSIWYG editors.

You can do a whole bunch with Shopify itself. I would see if that meets your needs.
