So when I first turned on /melee aggro=1 he was provoking fine with the two defaults

Then I went through and tuned the rest of it and it was perfect, then I created a hotkey for /melee aggro=1 and another hotkey for /melee aggro=0 to toggle when I'm tanking or dpsing and he won't do it anymore

He still taunts but he won't use insite/bazu bellow/bellow of the mastruq

I changed this stuff and then it stopped provoking at all:
provoke0=4697
provoke1=6173
provoke2=5015
provokeend=75
taunt=1
callchallenge=1
commanding=1
shield=83908
arrow=83440
bow=83440
disarm=0
aggropri=60321

I reverted the ini by dropping one into the folder and overwriting and it still wasn't working with aggro=1

Here's the current ini:

You're in a group, right? Just checking, since you have groupcheck=1

Can always set a couple debug options, like:
ShowCombatAbility=1
ShowDebug=1
ShowProvoking=1

Save it, and then:
/melee load
/meleedebug

htw

Yes in a group always.
Thank you sir, doing that now

Getting
Ability[5015][UNKNOWN] << NOT FOUND >>
Ability[6173][UNKNOWN] << NOT FOUND >>

Very strange considering those values are correct. Do the discs he uses need to be in the Combat Abilities hotkeys window perchance?

/echo ${Me.CombatAbility[${Me.CombatAbility[< Incite >]}].ID}
(no spaces, just added that for forums)
returns [MQ2] NULL

all disciplines on all my toons with that command gives me [MQ2] NULL
hmm

bump, lots of ini changes and updates and unloads and it still won't provoke

Honestly not sure what's up with your toon there.

For me:

/echo ${Me.CombatAbility[${Me.CombatAbility[Incite]}].ID}

[MQ2] 4697

And no, you don't need them assigned to CA window buttons.

For your particular numbers shown, on my warrior:

/echo ${Me.CombatAbility[${Me.CombatAbility[bellow of the mastruq]}].ID}
[MQ2] 5015
/echo ${Me.CombatAbility[${Me.CombatAbility[bazu bellow]}].ID}
[MQ2] 6173

1) Are you using a custom UI? I can't imagine why it would matter, but who knows...
2) Can you see the index or any other TLO data directly from the Spell TLO, e.g.: /echo ${Spell[bazu bellow].ID}
3) Have you done a full file check, to make sure your spells_us.txt isn't corrupt?

htw

1) I am using AYA
2)
yy22SEj.png

3) No, using the OEM Patcher you mean?

Can someone shoot me a ini file that has their warrior provoke once and is working?

Is it possible to configure it to only taunt/provoke when aggro is lost? I know kissassist does this.

Alright so I just did a complete migration to a new PC and didn't bring any of my warrior's stuff so it all started from scratch.
This got provoke working again.
Then I changed provoke0=8467 and it started using provoke1 which is by default bazu bellow.
Then without saving I /melee load to get the default back and provoke0 is still broken.
So obviously editing those ID's breaks them.

I'll take a look further. If you want to reset them, try removing any of the provoke#= items from your ini, save, then /melee load, and /melee save

htw

BTW, you shouldn't manually change what provoke0 and provoke1 are in the ini, other than disabling them (0).

You can configure one provoke, that's used as a priority, and that's provoke2. That one will be used first if available.

So for example, yours would be provoke2=8467

htw

Thats interesting and slightly deceiving

Why would the priority be starting at 2 and descending?

I am not editing the ini file itself, I use in game commands /melee provoke0=####

well changed provoke2=8467 and still not provoking again

it is interesting to note that on a paladin's ini the provoke's are set to their spells and that still works

gotta be something else driving this that is making it so that the disc ID's are not the correct way to change
