In the center of an arena is IRA. When you beat him down to 5% he deactivates for two minutes, after which he pops back up at 100% and the next round starts. Each round both the IRA and the adds level up. So he starts out even con, then two rounds at yellow, then red.

Around 50% adds start coming. Slowly at first, then a bunch of mob hits at once (counted 14 up one round and 22 up another). Once the IRA deactivates, the remaining adds poof (after mezz is broken on any left up).

Between waves you can retreat to the entry cave and rezz and buff. He will aggro, but is perma rooted and does nothing, so as long as you all stay there you can recover.

We tried burning on IRS and kiting the adds. Did anyone else try this? Is it possible to deal with the adds and keep their numbers down?

err no he pops adds at 60% first wave of adds are like 5 or something like that.
then more and more adds come as you get more waves.
other than that its a very simple fight :} have fun

Whats the best way to avoid the ae's? Is it directional rear only? What other ae's does he have as the event continues? Ne other info in regards to this would be greatly appreciated.

The AE has 100 range, so we just backed off when he 'primed the pump.' (Sorry I don't remember the exact phrase).

The acid blast that seemed to be targeted on the MT, needs a corruption cure.

We definately saw one add before the 50% mark, then another. Then I would see 6-7 adds up around 45% and finally 12-15 adds up. The first few rounds we could mezz/kite them and stay on IRS, but later rounds they were no longer mezzable and kiters got creamed.
