Is there a way to display an indicator through HUD that attack's on?

I'm trying to clean up my screen from clutter... Attack indicator's one of the last things I'm trying to add...

Out of curiosity -- is there a list of all relevant hud commands?

Sure.

${Me.CombatState.Equal[COMBAT]}

Re

Thanks -- however, i am looking for the actuall attack button being on or off. This seems to do the combat state -- as in resting, combat etc...

You know there are the UI components that flash red if your attack is on -- i'm looking for a similar indicator...

*cheers*

It's the same thing. Combat state just has more information than attack on/off.

Re

Ok, this is what I was looking for and works:

${Me.Combat}

I just tested it and it shows false with attack on and off, i think the combat state is if you have aggro or not.

Crude

It's all i needed... if you want something crude for indicating attack on -- try copy/paste this in HUD (didn't bother with more elaborate designs yet):

ATTACKING01=3,300,450,255,000,000,${If[${Me.Combat},O O O O O O O O O O O O ,]}
ATTACKING02=3,300,455,255,040,000,${If[${Me.Combat}, O O O O O O O O O O O O ,]}
ATTACKING03=3,300,460,255,080,000,${If[${Me.Combat},O O O O O O O O O O O O ,]}
ATTACKING04=3,300,465,255,120,000,${If[${Me.Combat}, O O O O O O O O O O O O ,]}
ATTACKING05=3,300,470,255,160,000,${If[${Me.Combat},O O O O O O O O O O O O ,]}
ATTACKING06=3,300,475,255,200,000,${If[${Me.Combat}, O O O O O O O O O O O O ,]}
ATTACKING07=3,300,480,255,240,000,${If[${Me.Combat},O O O O O O O O O O O O ,]}
ATTACKING08=3,300,485,150,150,050,${If[${Me.Combat}, O O O O O O O O O O O O ,]}
ATTACKING09=3,300,490,100,100,100,${If[${Me.Combat},O O O O O O O O O O O O ,]}
ATTACKING10=3,300,495,050,050,150,${If[${Me.Combat}, O O O O O O O O O O O O ,]}
ATTACKING11=3,300,500,000,000,200,${If[${Me.Combat},O O O O O O O O O O O O ,]}
ATTACKING12=3,300,505,000,000,250,${If[${Me.Combat}, O O O O O O O O O O O O ,]}
ATTACKING13=3,300,510,000,000,255,${If[${Me.Combat},O O O O O O O O O O O O ,]}

i'm a bit confused as to why you have 13 of the same thing? Especially when huds are running those if statements very frequently.

CombatState *will* change... if you are actually attacking something. I guess if all you want to know is if you turned attack on (even if you aren't engaged), then yeah, Combat is what you want.

well, i thought that clearly stated that it will show if you are out of combat, resting, or engaged with attack on or off.

It does. If you read what I said previous to that, that's exactly what I said.

You realize that using HUD like that pulls a lot of system resources if you multi box?

It would be better if he turned down the amount of time that the file updates, but it's still bad either way -- tons of operations to do over and over again.

Re

But i like it! :) Makes my laptop keep me warm -- snow outside!

I don't box much anyway ...
