Help --- Camcorders?

Help please:

I am looking to buy a Camcorder from anywhere between $300.00 - $500.00 for mainly my kids football games (will be taping about 50 - 70 yards away from them).

What I am looking for is the most for my money and any helpful information, links etc.... would be great!!

My camera is a Canon ZR600. It has 25x zoom and 800x digital zoom. Not high end or anything, but great for what I use it for and it's just under $300.

Newegg ftw. I have bought tons of stuff from here at way better prices than normal retailers. Or maybe Tigerdirect if you cant find anything here.
