*** Highlights ***

- Many more zones will spin up new instanced versions when they are populated by enough adventurers.

*** Spells ***

- Druids - All spells in the Winter's Flame line have been changed to work like Winter's Wildflame. The component spells will now receive the full benefit of damage foci but will not use twincast counters on their own. The base spells can still be twincast as before.
- Rangers - All spells in the Summer's Dew line have been changed to work like Summer's Cyclone. The component spells will now receive the full benefit of damage foci but will not use twincast counters on their own. The base spells can still be twincast as before.

*** NPC ***

- Soulbinders have discovered how to reliably bind the soul of all adventurers, even in non-city zones.

*** AA ***

*** Progression Servers ***

- Forged Firebrand weapon creation will be disabled on Progression Servers until Brunnel Kegstander appears to teach their recipes to the world.
- Kaxon Frennor should now appear on all Progression Servers, but will not offer his newbie weapon quest until the appropriate time.

*** Miscellaneous ***

- Fixed an issue where items intended for Ragefire were appearing on other servers.
- Corrected the navigation of boats through the Ocean of Tears. They should spend much more of their time in the water now.

*** UI ***

- Changed /pickzone so that it will show all of the available instances instead of just the first 10.
- Changed the messaging if you are in a login queue to signify you were already in the queue.

New progression server coming, Lockjaw. 28 page thread already on EQ forums mostly complaints about how they're going to handle it. Big debate between totally ban boxers versus allow transfers from Ragefire.

Interesting...

Not sure what to make of this. Has there been a problem with NPC soulbinders not always getting the job done?

My real hope is this means any player can bind in any zone, but I'm probably wrong there...

I dont understand that myself, i was able to bind in ec with melees.

about transfers
When Lockjaw opens, there won't be transfers.

Once Lockjaw opens, we want this server to develop naturally as progression servers do. We want all players to have the same opportunity for the content on Lockjaw, regardless on how much time those players have been able (or not been able) to play on Ragefire.

After we have some information on what population looks like on Ragefire and Lockjaw after this second server launches, we'll see what we want to do with transfers.

With regard to Soulbinders:

Very curious about this too. I have my chanty bound in Bro Isle for easy access to TDS. I would love to be able to bind my other toons into TDS as well to save time.

Has anyone tested what the Soulbinder comment means?

Well, I still can't bind my caster in Combine Dredge, so it probably doesn't mean much. My guess would be they've had reports of soulbinders not working in certain zones.

It could also mean soulbinders who spawn in non-city zones CAN now bind melee types, which could not be done before. But are there any NPC soulbinders in non-city zones? Unless some have been added recently, I can't think of any offhand.
