Chat Filters

I was hoping one of you could help me out as this one as me boggled.

is there a way to turn off ALL chat that comes in. Not hide it in a window and minimize it but turn it off completely. I've tried turning off all the filters in EQ to hide and can't seem to get what i'm looking for.

HTW or Fry - Have you guys ever come across something like this?

There is a plugin called MQ2MFilter that hooks into the OnIncomingChat() function and can be used to remove messages.

I don't see it on the Bugs Wiki so it may not be available.

I could make a very simple plugin to remove all chat. But I don't think you'd like the results!

I made both MQ2ChatFilter and MQ2FilterSet many years ago - and they are in our release. See wiki, if one/other/both will do what you need.

Thanks. I tried those but i'm trying to block ALL text. I know the plugin does not allow it and it can only go by keywords or phrases.

I'll give it another shot though.

make a filter that matches the letter 'a' , then one for 'e' , 'i' , 'o' , 'u' ... all text blocked.
