I have tried setting up various macros the past several days to no avail. A friend of mine sent me his INI and I used that with different spell names, but it wasn't working very well either. I've tried modbot, and shambot, but so far zbot is as close as I've gotten to having a bot that is as functional as I'd like it to be.

Only two issues yet to resolve:

1. He refuses to HoT unless I tell him to, then he does it without issue. I'd rather he just do it automatically though.

2. He refuses to Slow. (balance of discord) I have this set up as a debuff. (I was using lingering sloth as a buff on the tank, if that has any bearing at all?)


Other than that, he casts buffs as I want him to, dots and nukes are also good. He also heals with gemmi's mending just fine, but I want him to HoT as its so much easier on mana. I will send along the parts of the code that I can guess are applicable. If you need more of the code, please let me know, just didn't want to have to change names to protect the innocent! Shammy is 78 with 8 spell gems...he doesn't have a group heal, so I just set that to false. Thank you in advance for your help!

also make a backup folder of your macro folder put it somewhere like c:\Macros

set up your buff attack

first start zbot
/ma zbot
then in a chat window type the following
/buff attack # (the spell gem # that your hot spell is located at)
/buff attack MAINTANKNAME
