So, I know quite a few visual things happen in EQ when MQ2 is running. I'm trying to track them all down for myself.

  1. MQ2Hud
  2. MQ2Map - disable with /mapfilter all
  3. MQ2ChatWnd - can unload to not show chat window, or just minimize it with a title-less ui window
  4. Item notes on item inspect - plugin = ?
  5. various title changes (all part of macroquest.ini?)

Am I missing anything in default installs? There's also mq2tooltip as well, with hoverover stuff on mouse.

I think they added a plugin so it shut off all MQ2 functions... Allowing you to take a ScreenShot and not get popped.

MQ2Screenshot

Command is /ss

I was looking at more of a permanent thing, not just for screenshots. I want to turn on visual aspects only when I want them.

Also, of note, this plugin just takes a screenshot only excluding MQCaptions, from the description. It also executes a bunch of predefined commands which may or may not get everything.

Press f11, hide the cat window and edit the macroquest.ini to not show the extra info on names
