terrible auto mechanics

They called me today to tell me that replacing the immobilizer head didn't fix it. Now they think it's a wiring harness.

Cost of immobilizer head? $500.

Cost of wire harness? $65.

What they said to me when I asked them 6 weeks ago how certain they were the new immobilizer head would fix the problem? "100 percent. There's no chance it's anything else."

Priceless.

hahahaha,. well, all i am gonna say is, they were morons to even try to tell you it could never be anything else. There are allot of times where more than 1 thing does need replacing, however, If I were you, i would be looking for an inspection procedure(off the car) for the immobilizer head, and make sure you get the old one from them, if it's not bad, then ya, i would go ahead and charge back on em.
