Strange NPC Color on the map?

On map settings I have it set for NPCConcolor to show. Sometimes when there's a named mob up the name of the NPC will be displayed in Purple. I find this odd, especially considering the mob could (or should be) any con [grey, green, blue, etc.] but it's purple instead. Last night I went into a zone and again another named NPC was up with this purple name displaying on my map. About 5 seconds after zonning in I heard the GMCheck plugin doing the sonar(sp) noise... and I'm assuming that mean's it's checking for GMs. Anyway, any thought's on what this is exactally?

Using MQ2spawntracker or MQ2targerts? I know one of them turns new spawns that are on the watch list purple on the map.

Must be spawntracker, I usually just use Notify. Would explain why it caught me off guard... Thanks... this junk'll make ya paranoid. =P
