Anyone have any pointers on this fight? If not will hope to post any info learned in the next couple of days.

put 1 group on bombers that spawn up top in the rafters. Ranged dps works well.
Spindle's dps is pretty mean, debuffs work wonders in keeping it controlable.

Adds spawn from about 80% on with 4 at a time, steamwork menders, Kite and kill them all. one by one, then back on him.

about 50% two grates start opening, ya use ground spawn items to cast a buff on ya then click the levers to close em, or take nasty dots.

Around the same time mezzable clockwork gnome looking modles will rush the raid, mez them. Keep killing menders. Burn last 30% or so of spindle.
 
Make sure that nobody up in the rafters on the bombadiers casts on spindlecrank .. so that means no AEs .. no AoAs .. etc. If someone upstairs casts on him, there's an emote and he summons adds upstairs, and that sucks.

on the vents at 50%, you loot the groundspawn as mentioned, target yourself and cast the tether .. that way when you click on the vent, you don't get knocked out of the zone. you have to re-tether yourself before each pull of the vent.
 
Rangers have a huge advantage as the grenadier termination squad. At the vary top of the scaffolding there are two 1/2 circle areas that hang out over spindle almost directly. 1 ranger on each side with their bow and levi standing on the rim about midway have the ability to hit just about anywhere the grenadiers can spawn without any movement except pivoting around.

Like others said before, it is important that nobody up top hits Spin in any way (especially with dots/rains) as the grenadier crew get brought down rapidly. 3-5 rangers can easily keep them all down if they are alert and focusing and can usually (unless someone fucks up) be fine with no healer up there (any healing they may need they can do themselves to a fairly high degree) freeing up an extra healer for the crew engaged with Spindle.

Just lev a wizzy and send them up, have them hover over the steam pipe and they can take out all 5 spawns with one instant nuke :eek:
