map question

Having a hard time finding the answer, so just posting it here.
Flame away if you like, I have asbestos undies.

How do I turn off/on players and/or npc's on the map?

Sometimes there are just too many in the zone, so expanding the map is slow.

go to your map

and you should see a set of numbers on the right hand side "1" "2" "3" , toggle through those see if that helps. or there are /mapfilter options to, but dont know those off the top of my head

I think what you're wanting is something like this.

/mapfilter show npc
/mapfilter hide pc

etc

You could toggle them with just:

/mapfilter npc

(instead of typing show/hide)

Pressing "2" will hide mq2 lables (npcs and pc) and if you got your maps from mapfiend.net it will most likely hide the normal lables. Also if you ever care to look at the Macroquest2 site they have a manual there that will tell you lots of commands including /MAPFILTER HELP
