To start the fight say attack to Kalda Treg. He and his hunters will provide some initial DPS boost till they die off to the AES.

The only people in close on the King should be the MT and ST. He has several short range very nasty AEs. Including a 47K AE and a 70K AE. One has a knockback. He will also cast a dot on the MT. If not cured the tank is charmed for 40 seconds. He also hits very hard. We used a final stand tank rotation.

Range DPS from up out of the pit to kill him.

Every 2 minutes and every 20% of his health you get 3 a beast adds. Pull the adds up out of the pit where he is and kill them. The braxi models can be charmed and used for DPS on the king. The rest can be mezzed.

If you dont kill the adds off fast enough he will eat them and regen some health. Did not notice if he would eat a charmed mob or not but that might be a risk of using them for DPS.

Melee DPS should be sufficient to kill the adds off. If you get a double spawn from time and health have all DPS help kill them then range DPS back on the named.

Beat this with 43 on our second attempt. First attempt was really just a test with 23 and got him to 75%. So a very easy fight.

eerrrr

The Braxi Adds get ate by King and he regens bit o Hps each one.

more info

Any more info regarding this. Having problems with the stupid knockback and adds spawning.

It's a ranged fight. Only MT should be at named and named should be pulled out of pit so no LOS issues. Use the charmed mobs on adds, NOT the boss.

Be sure to keep all the adds dead, they power up the King if they get absorbed. We pull the King just to the lip of the pit, and only send 3 tanks in. Melee stays on adds, pulled away from the King, casters and rangers slowly take down the named.

Watch the timing to avoid getting a set of heath based adds (every 20%) and a set of timed adds (every 3 minutes) at the same time.

You can also just engage the beats and leave treg and the hunters back. We usually send them at either the 40% or 20% mark for some extra DPS. If the king is not between them and the middle of the pit they wont always engage so need to pull him closer if you fight him on the back side of the pit. If some of the hunters jump on adds when the adds die they will path back to the start. If treg is still alive you can say attack to him again and all the hunters will run back in. Once he dies any hunters not engaged will not help.

Ranged fight?

We leave the casters out of the pit yeah but everyone else just rushes him.

Cant imagine doing it ranged like that must take forever?

Looking at my parse from last night it took us 8 minutes flat from engage to win...that about what you are seeing?

Takes us 12-15 with melee DPS staying back. Still a fairly short fight compared to some of the later raids lol.

Keep caster DPS on Beast whole time while melee off/on Beast to kill adds as they pop.

does anyone know of name of dot that needs cured on tank to stop charm plz?

Think its Magic of the Domain which is the debuff that is followed up by Call of the Domain the charm. We usually have enough tanks that we dont worry if one gets charmed we just swap tanks till the charm wears off.

Its not like the group mission where if you get Magic of the Domain, you have to cure it before you get charmed with Call of the Domain. Charm isn't cureable, you just have to deal with tank swaps. Charms happen roughly every 1.5 mins, but it isn't consistent. IMO, the goral (blue) form of King is the easiest to deal with and the least likely to charm tanks often. Braxi form sucks and you'll being seeing those charms every 1.5 mins like clockwork usually.
