help with macro's

im trying to save macro's in my mq2 folder with notepad, but isnt letting me load them? is there something im doing wrong? ive tried .mac etc still wont load them.

1. Open notepad.
2. Open the macro you wish to edit, or paste the macro you wish to save.
3. Go to File ---> Save As
4. Save as Type: All Files
5. Filename: <putmacronamehere>.mac
6. Click save

Load what? Post the macro if your talking about the macro not running.

make sure you save it in the "macros" folder

Yes, unable to list them in game is what it is telling you, when it tries to show them to you.

The default location for macros in the provided macroquest.ini file is

MacroPath=.\Macros

That means, if your MQ2 were in C:\MQ2 for example, your macros need to be in C:\MQ2\Macros

Otherwise, you need to change the path in macroquest.ini and restart MQ2.
