Gotta wonder ...

Never seen so many senior accounts being sold. You all know something I missed? I've been around since month 1. Have all the Vet rewards. Try to stay aware, but I'm getting a creeping feeling a very important part of my life is ending somehow. Gold account till November. Please let me know what the assumed panic is about, thank you.

ROS is a steaming pile of shit and people have been quitting in large numbers.

i dont see it atleast not in a high end raiding guild. Turnover hasnt be any higher then normal.

journalism has mutated into basic greed.

What happen to journalism ? How can anyone take these sites serious if they report stuff like this ? They don't even bother to try to get a real confirmed source of the info just an anon post by someone.
Why should EQ be different, it's about fake news if necessary, to generate social change/$$/revenge that's sought. The industry always hated Everquest for it's success and never understood it's ability to generate & hold the player base.

They'd prefer we were finicky and could be trained/learn to jump to the 'soon to be released' or 'next great game' reviewed. It's taken 20 yrs, but now they understand, err/accept the power of the 'hold' EQ has on it's players, must first be destroyed to get our attention. They can't make $$ if they can't deliver players/interest.

That has become our swamp the reporters/gaming sites. With little to no ethics about what's truth, or faked for effect (including even rumor/lies). Delivered is paid. Media is media, even more crooked then a 'free to play' game concept or the sick NWO socialists. If they can redistribute our $$ they win, again. The real losers will be those they dupe into following where led.
I prefer not to be snickered at, but instead praised for my loyalty.

Daybreak dupes me every year into paying them off when I buy their expansions!

I've stopped buying subscriptions to Daybreak directly for years now. With so much invested into my characters, they do get me on expansion sales, but I've learned to not reward them as often now, as I've cut down on how many expansions I buy from 30-35 per year, down to 6 a year. I'll start supporting them again more often once they come out with some quality product.
