Just a quick note to confirm there doesn't seem to be a timer on killing the patches.

We did have an issue where non of the spawned shrooms would be slowable after we had a somewhat mini wipe on our first attempt (only one) where we got silenced and then took a while to rez and restart clearing the patches. Not sure if that happens after a certain amount of time or due to the mini wipe.

We actually ended up calling it because we thought we hadn't done a good job of keeping track of the original 15 but, someone ended up hailing the elder and death beetle did spawn. Went in totally unprepared just to see the event.

On the original 15 patches, is it not possible to use a tracker to do the spawning and just track and kill the most recent spawns first? I don't use MQ and other than having a person with a photographic memory, wondering if any reason that wouldn't work.

That works just fine.

What I would suggest is to kill one color type of shroom at a time. Not only does it make it clearly visible on track when respawn begins, it also reduces the amount of weapon switching by melee / spell switching. We generally leave yellow to last so everyone can switch back to their premium weapon set up.

Do the colors at the same time. Do all yellow, break if needed, do all the red, break if needed, do all blue...

This way, if you wipe, you just have to reclear the ones you were on to make sure you got them all, then continue. But if you wipe on these guys, you probably can't handle the death beetle.
