Is there any way to have a EQ server of my own that can be used to play offline?

I was thinking of starting one...any help would be appreciated.

Yep, they have gotten very easy to setup. You'll wanna look into EQEmu and you'll also wanna look into minilogin (if it is still around, its a local login server). Be advised though that they are only accurate up through Legacy of Ykesha as far as zone population.

Have fun, I have done both linux and windows server builds for EQEmu, but I havent messed with it recently.

Been a while but there are usually guides on the eqemu site on how to set one up, just go with the minilogin server if you are only going to be connecting through the lan.

Do a legit classic sever. :D
