How bad is using /taunt ? ....

I been using /taunt to pull single pulls, but am curious if this is a bad idea.... also spam /taunt when pullnig agro off my caster

I believe /taunt actually "warps" your toon to the targeted mob for a split second, and if spammed will cause your character to spasmodically pop back and forth between the target and your "real" position. Therefore, I don't think it's a good idea. But if groups get curious, blame it on lag.

Be careful when pulling singles (especially in a dungeon) that there aren't other people that are actively able to see the given mob on their screen. I've been spotted /taunting before, and the guy who asked me about it was bewildered -- but I just told him I just logged into the game and my toon must've been having positioning issues with the server.
