dupes are like stds

everyone that comes in contact w the shit pays the price whether they knew it or not
for those duping stuff its a matter of time for a 5 to 7 time out (not days yrs), for those that even bother to get their banned accts back.

few friends are saying shit started on FV and spread from there but no one coughing up names.

guess the best people can hope for is that its only a rumor that SOE has new folks on target for duping or that they dont swing the ban stick all over the place

I always LOL @ people who use these dupe bugs. That's like the #1 thing (along with currency duplication / station cash hacking) that Sony is going to be watching out for. Their server economies represent real world money, duping items is the closest thing to counterfeit currency we have in the EQ world.

Think of it this way, you blast your local convenience store with a gun, police or sheriffs department arrests you... give the clerk inside a couple of fake twenties and the secret service shows up in black suburbans and hauls your ass off to some dark room.
