I have to buy for nine toons so its already a pile of cash. I couldnt see anything in the collectors addition that warranted almost doubling the price of a DIGITAL download.
I bought collectors edition of Warhammer cuz it was a sweet ass box with hardcover books, pewter models, and all kinds of shit that I can actually put on my bookshelf and enjoy and save like a "Collector" would. How the fuck you call a digital download "Collectors Edition" I have no fucking idea!

Actually it is $30 more for the collector's edition. Although I originally voted that I would buy it for my main at least, I have some questions:
Besides a bag with a whopping 4 more slots, what is the difference in the mercenary you get with regular pre-order vs collector's edition? I assume these are just graphics anyway - but have you beta folks seen either merc?
At $30 I don't see the value and at $50 (after Monday) I would say Sony will sell their last collector's edition on Monday October 11th around 11:59pm.

OK - so I get a mercenary that may or may not be cool but certainly won't be unique and a bag - but do I not get those if I don't pre-order? Is it cheaper right now (does not look like it)? Anything else I am missing?
I am looking for a reason to pre-order before midnight tonight but other than the bag I am not sure I see a reason to. Do we know for a fact that those who do not pre-order don't get the bag?

The only difference looks like is the price (only on CE). That's all. The molds, mercs, mounts looks to be all the same.

/nods - I am already committed to ignoring the collector's edition crap I am just wondering if there is an actual incentive to even pre-order at all (other than getting to crash with everyone in the new zones in about 24 hours)?

I ended up buying 1 collector's edition for my warrior, simply for the sword ornamentation and bought normal expansions for the other 5. Was still too damn much money.

Can someone who did not pre-order at all (meaning you bought it today) tell me if they got any items when they logged in? I am trying to understand the advantage of pre-ordering but for the life of me I cannot find one.

Collector's was the 20 slot. I just got an e-mail suggesting if I order now I still get the 16 slot, 2 extra bag slots, the merc, and the painting. So my question lingers: wtf was the point of the pre-order?
You get all of the stuff except for the merc skin. The merc skin on the non-collector edition was for pre-order only. All of the rest is still included (16 slot bag, a mount, and some kind of artwork you can hang on the wall in your house).
not getting the collector's edition..no way is a few items worth that much money..gl to anyone that did/does lol..fools imo
