I'm sorry, friend, but that's simply not true. I am not considered rich by any stretch of the imagination, but once I become rich through my hard work and determination, I don't want my wealth taken away from me.

How can you get a tax cut when you don't pay any taxes to being with?

Shortly after Reagan was elected, he reduced the upper tax bracket from 48% to 35%. Do you know what happened? Tax revenue increased. This is a documented fact. He cut taxes, and tax revenue went up.

Conversely, right after the stock market crash in 1929, FDR (a democrat), raised taxes dramatically. The result? The Great Depression. Tax revenue decreased. This is a documented fact. He increased taxes, and not only did tax revenue do down, the drove the country into a 10 year economic depression.

If can understand this concept, and the "why" behind it, then you're on your way to enlightenment. The left prides itself on being scholarly and intellectual; they should use a scientific and unbiased mind to look at the historical events, the big picture and it will become clear.

I was Army yes. Then again I don't think making the middle east another Korea is the way to go. I also think we are fucking stupid for trying to fight 2 wars at once and both in areas that have high concentration of religious fanatics.


I would rather see our soldiers come home instead of fighting wars we cannot win because we just wont do what is needed to actually win them.

I support our guys. I don't support the reason they are being put in harms way.

Yeah I'm aware that people tend to vote their dreams not their realities. I read a few studies a while back that came to that conclusion and it was quite interesting. But being realistic unless your somewhat close to your goal of making 120k+ a year I see no excuse for you to be voting for Mccain. Most of the other reasons people use to try and support Mccain are somewhat flimsy from a logical perspective. I think theres a reason the GOP uses so much fear mongering in their campaigning, and one of those reasons is that their policies aren't as sound as they would like people to believe. It makes much more sense to sell you on something by painting a one sided or incomplete picture, then to distract you regularly with fluff so you don't analyze the policy then it does to constantly focus on issues.
