Ninja Update, MQ2 broken on Live

Took a 5 hour break, apparently SoE did a small ninja patch. When I logged in, got incorrect client mismatch.

Only posting here because it's been a few hours and no redbar at the top of the page yet.

As always, bypass launchpad and don't update to their new client until MQ2 is updated.

I double click, get 'try launch[pad.exe.' I try making shortcut, get same. What am I forgetting?


(I used to be able to start from eqgame.exe, but forgot how.)

you replace your current eqgame.exe with this one if you have already patched to the new exe

There really was no option this time. Every time you camped to character select you crashed. So for me I had no choice since I have multiple toons on my accounts that I need.

I am also getting the Client mismatch popup when launching EQ.

Happened after I was booted from game today and I tried to log back on....
