New video card

Heyas,

I'm looking to update my video card and was wondering anyones suggestion. Currently I have a 1 gig 128 bit ddr2 (9500gt i think). Looking for one under 150 and so for I'm leaning towards, XFX HD-485X-ZDFC Radeon HD 4850 1GB 256-bit GDDR3 (Opinions or if anyone has it). I do box 2-5 toons and my system currently is an Amd Phenom X4, Vista 64 bit, 8 gigs. Any feedback appreciated.

Also this card has a double lifetime parts/labor mfg warranty and is price at 124.99 on newegg.

Not quite sure about that exact card, but I have an ATI Radeon 4890 and love it! Runs EQ very smoothly with no hiccups. I have loaded up to 6 toons before and ran out of accounts to try more. I have a 3.2 core 2 duo vista 64 with 8 gigs.

on a amd 2.8 quad + 8gig ram allows me to 8box EQ

bleh just saw that it is now unavailable. but i'd imagine the one your talking about would be pretty much the same thing

I just went from a geforce 8800 512mb to a geforce 270 with 1.7gig ram and i got no preformance increase at all. ive got 6 gig of ram and an athlon 64 bit processor. wonder what im doing wrong.
