So, i managed to blow my mobo with a faulty HD5770, so rather than try and find a replacement, teh mrs has granted me some money to upgrade.

Question is, could i save £50 and not have to buy a new PSU? Currently have a Hiper 450watt.
If i should get a new one, any suggestions, bearing in mind i don't want to spend an arm and a leg!

Thanks!

PSU is one of the things I always go overboard with only cause I've had bad experiences in the past with insufficient power. There may be more of a tolerance nowadays to running lower voltages automatically if it detects minimal power, but I don't know overall the components you are currently running so it's difficult to tell. Also keep in mind continual vs peak power.
