Both Conan the Barbarian and Destroyer were great movies. It's a shame the third never got pumped out.

This movie isn't a high priority, so I'll end up seeing it a year or so down the road when it's on onDemand.

Read the books and the "Savage Sword of Conan" black-and-white comic magazine. Great stuff!

Check out the movie about Robert E. Howard's life, too. Great acting job by Vincent D'Onofrio (Law & Order CI). He killed himself at age 30 after his mother passed away. Amazing how much he created in 30 years. Yet he was almost always broke, very poorly paid for his stories. Wikipedia has an interesting chart of how much he made from his Conan, Kull & other stories. Even inflation-adjusted he made less from Conan & Co. in his life than Schwarzenegger made for a day's work on Conan the Barbarian, probably...

FYI They are doing a tie in to the new movie in Age of Conan. A new area of the world modelled after the movie or something like that. I didn't read it too closely.

I'm just happy that Jason Momoa is taking the lead role in Conan. He was only in Game of Thrones for a few episodes, but his character (Khal Drogo) was my favorite.
