MQTwist fails completely

I made a bard to PL up for pulling - when I try to /twist 1 2 3, the song stops immediately. Going through loads of forums searches, I can't seem to tell what I'm doing wrong. /melody works, but loves to stop after 1-2 rounds.
 
works flawless for me and has for ever

maybe if you provide more info the mystery can be solved

what songs
whats skill at
is plugin loaded
etc etc etc

More info

Truly base MMO load - nothing outside of required plugins (MMOBugs.dll, MQMain.dll, etc.) + mq2cast, mq2melee, mq2twist.

Doesn't matter which song - as long as mq2melee is not /melee off, no twists work.

/melee beta=1 / on enabled.

I've read that I could use bard macros, but for a simple 2-song twist, it's kinda silly.
 
again I as well as probably everyone else thats using the current compile is using it flawlessly

skill in that song
instruments or mods are there correct?
 
Gem1 = Katta's Song of Sword Dancing (max skill)
Gem2 = Rizlona's Fire (max skill)
Gem3 = Verses of Victory (max skill)

MQMelee just has:
melee=1
aggro=1
facing=1

1 downshit for HP check to pot

Same issue if 0 downshits
 
If there were a TLO for IsCasting, I could just down/holyshit it to restart the /melody instead of using a separate plugin.
 
FIXED (and works well)

holyshit0=/if (${Me.Casting.ID}==NULL) /docommand /melody 1, 2, 3
 
melee beta=on is what is causing your issue. i poke htw about it every time someone mentions it. DO NOT USE BETA FOR ANY REASON
