Kurn's Stronghold - Claiming Felbane

Haven't done it yet but there appear to be 6 named in the instance. You chat with Kurn to trigger the event. One by one the named will go live, when you kill one the next goes live, the order is random. While this goes on adds will spawn, All but the golems are mezzable.

The last mob to go live is the Champion, killing him wins the event. Essentially kill the named, kite the adds, when Champion is dead clean up the adds.

Casts: Pox of Rathis, Rathiss' Torrent of Poison

Reaver Lord Thersith
Casts: Wave of Darkness

Srith the Iron Fist
Casts: Srith's Disabling Shout, an a/e FD.

Torkis the Darkscale
Casts: Darkscale Leach, Torkis' Pyrocruor
 
Have not won this but made one run at it. Adds pop very quickly I seemed like about 4 per minute.
 
AE Mez the adds, a few groups on the named to burn them, the rest of the raid assist and kill....
 
just have your root team KR the adds and kill namers, when namers are dead whittle through the spawns and have people that win loot clear agro via logging or whatever when all loot is done ae tl

AE mez is the best strat for the adds. Have the whole raid bunched up at the pin spot so the adds all run to the same spot and don't get too spread out (this is the key to success). Have your enchanters chain cast Docility to keep the adds locked down. Have a team of knights take care of the unmezzable golems.

Kill all the named mobs and the boss, and then clean up the adds at the end. The faster you can kill the main mobs, the fewer adds you'll get, but it doesn't really matter how many adds you get (Docility hits unlimited mobs) as long as they are in range.

When we won this we did have 3 chanters on the raid and solid DPS and had nearly all DPS focused on named. Only took enough off to get the unmezzable adds down and to whittle at the others. Still wound up with about 30 adds locked down by the chanters at the end. Did take them a bit to get over the normal tendancy to toss mezzed mobs off by themselves and to start pushing them together.
 
the adds do not despawn the aemez can get nasty its best to just put 1 high dps group on the named as they pop then have rest raid assist kill the adds when no adds up can help on named but unless u have insane crazy dps burnning the named guys wont be very efficient they also cast ae fear and fd and junk so best to just kill adds as they spawn 1 good dps group can kill nameds
 
This is a raid won by the Main Assist and the chanters, without good people in both those slots its a loss, the DPS isnt nearly as important
 
We use alt enchanters and they have no problem locking down all adds the whole time. This is of course minus the golems since they can not be mezzed. Event takes like 10 min max with our dps and thats around 100k
