Ice 1: Ice Constructs

I missed this post and have gotten severl PM's about this event so ill post a PM reply here and should be what your looking for.


Part 1 is fairly easy. You have 4 constructs up + the named. Killing 1 construct makes the named charge your raid. Corner him and dps him. However you will want to keep atleast 2 to 3 of his pets down. He will respawn them every so often. Just make sure only 1 or 2 is up at a time. The more up the more powerful he is.

Part 2, is the exact opposite of part 1. And is much harder. Named + 4 constructs, killing 1 construct makes the named charge the raid. DPS the named however here is the catch. You will ALWAYS want atleast 3 of the 4 constructs up at a time. If you only have 1 or 2 up, the named sends his power to his pets and they become very very nasty raid wipers. Even without power up the pets still hit harder than in part 1. If he summons his pets and you got only 3 up in the zone, you cant kill them till the 4th spawns or you get screwed so your forced to offtank, which you need good knights or warriors one on them.

If your guild doesnt mind doing simi exploits to events then simply make a group with 4 knights and 2 clerics. Have the knights agro the golems as they run to the raid, and run them out of the room doors. This will leash them, they will reagro but then the knights can run back and rinse repeat. All the while the knights are doing this the raid is completely burning down the named. Works very well and is super fast. We have recently went to doing this ourself rather than muscling the event and wasting 30 + mins.

Part 3, easiest part. Named. Take him to a corner and kill him. Every few mins a construct wanders into the room. Kill it then back on named. Easy.

I want to add that on Part 3, it's easier to just get to the east wall and just stay out of range of the adds. It's quicker than killing them.
 
Old thread but we are currently trying to get past part 2. We tried kiting the adds but the nuke they toss and the ease of getting out of range of the healers made that hard.

We tried the pull to the door so they warp method but golems got to the raid before we could get them reaggroed so lost a few on each pull. Was wondering where your raid sets up if you do it this way.

Looking at just offtanking them as they come in if we cannot get a good setup for the warp method.
 
Have an Sk get one add and bring it to the SE corner then have your raid run into the SE corner. Kill that add and then the big golem agros and runs toward your raid. Have your entire raid burn down the named.

Knights (SK mostly) just agro any of the golems that agro you and just run them out of the doors near raid they'll warp back to middle of room. Then Sks just come back and wait for more agro and keep running out the door to leash the golem adds.. Once the named is dead SKs still so the same thing they are doing but have a war etc get agro and bring one golem at a time to the SE corner.
 
what we do is have a monk move the first golem by the door to the right corner. Then the raid moves in and hugs hard left and huddles HARD in the corner. Up on the Ledge. NOT down on the floor

The MA for the golem is levied on the wall there and when the MA tags the 1st golem it will warp to the corner on the wall into the raid. after it dies named is inc. Have the MA for the named do the same thing and after it warps up then have all the melee dps push it into the corner and burn it down you wont get any other adds this way.

Clear all the trash in that room includeing the 3 other event golems after the named is dead.

On the second one do the same thing except you will get one golem add have a Pally do the same thing warp it up into the corner with the named thats in the corner and all the pallies keep it stunned while raid burns down the named ( you wont get more adds this way just the named and 1 ) Burn named down.

Clean up the trash in this room after named is dead so you can move to final named.

On final named you get one add inc every so often its timed . Tank him on the back wall and burn it down if you pull him out of the room you will get that silly AE KB thing from either hi or the adds i forget but if you keep him on te back wall you can avoid that.

Then its basicly zerg and switch to add kill it and zerg some more till its dead and get loot
