I want to read and write inis for a macro into an entirely different directory on my computer. Is that possible? what does the file path look like if so. Any advice would be appreciated. I only see the ability to read and write to a subdirectory and that isnt what i want.

Information

[MacroQuest]
MacroPath=.\Macros
LogPath=.\Logs

From the Macroquest.ini is all I am aware of.

Aye, that isn't what I need unfortunately.

I just need 1 macro i am writing to use the normal EQ directory for .inis because they are automatically stored there by EQ itself.

ie. the macro runs from: c:/mq2/macros/
the ini is in: c:/eq/directory/

You would read the values via the Ini TLO. You can specify the pathname in the filespec for the TLO, so you can read from any drive/dir you want to.
