Ok, here is my issue. I have been working on my custom hotbuttons for about a year and a half now on and off. I get lazy and leave em alone for a while, and get back on em. Friends ask me for some of this and that, i try to help, but sometimes it is harder to explain to them for me than it is to just do it for them. therefor, Since i have all my cleric AA commands figured out for my hotkeys(even though i am too lazy to implement all of them yet), I am gonna post them all here for yall, along with the command to get in game feedback with all the commands for the AA's for your class. Be forewarned, when you do this, (the command is /alternateadv list) it will feedback to your chat window EVERY AA you have and its corresponding game command number, this i have found tends to be too much for one window to handle, so just turn on your chat logging, i think the command is /log on if i remember right, but it's still early in the day so someone correct me if i am wrong please, then go into your Everquest game file, and look for the file that has that characters name and server on it, should say log somewhere in the name, open it up and pow, theres the whole list for you. What I am looking for though, I am still trying to figure out what in game commands, IF ANY, will activate your Epics, or for that matter any clickies, without MQ2 and without haveing to modify your hotkey command strokes in options>keys. Most of all I am personally interested in the cleric 2.0 epic, but as I said, i do the UI file modding for allot of friends, so basically every class would be nice to know, and nice to have in this thread. So if anyone can educate me on this, I would greatly appreciate it. IF no one knows how to do this, then i guess i can settle for the MQ2 single line commands, if any, for activating an epic. Thanks, and hope this helps, here comes the extremely long list of cleric AA's...And yes, some of these, for instance gate, and MGB, the numbers do apply to all classes that have that AA. Sorry its not broken down into activated only, perhaps if i get bored before patch is up i will go back and edit it to do this.

PS. To use an AA, enter into the given hotbutton line /alt activate ####

also, just a side note, I have noticed that somtime's, mainly on my SK with certain ones, using this key will allow you to use the AA before the timer is up, I am sure this is a bug, it may be fixed already, but lets not let everyone know, cuz if the devs find out I am sure there will be a fix.

There's not any way to "activate" a clicky without putting the item on your hotkeys, or using mq2. There is no command usage for them.

there most certinaly is a command to use items - im at work right now so i may by wrong on exactly what the command is, but there def is one you can use. i think its /activate item "item name" and you need to have the " " with the item name, im pretty sure that was the command. when i get home from work i can check my hotkeys, and il correct it if im mistaken, but u can def do a hotkey to activate items -- note - im not exactly sure if this command came with the use of MQ2, or if its implemented by eq, so i wouldnt go talking about it in gernal chat just in case its mq :)

There most certainly is a way to read a post. There is not a way to activate an item without having it on your hotkey unless you use MQ2.

I didn't know so many english teachers used MQ. Sorry, i will try harder next time to make my posts easier on your eyes, because i really want to spend every minute of my day making sure that you can't find errors in my posts. On a brighter note, thanks for the tip on how to eliminate the massive size of the list in the post.

you can indeed make a hotkey to activate clickys, i use several of them myself

i was a little off on the command you use to activate them - i guess you do need MQ but heres the correct command,

/cast item "itemname" so like an example would be /cast item "bone mask of the ancient iksar"

and you also will need to have that item in your inventory, not in a bag

and im also not writing a book, i was jus trying to answer a question, theres no need to nitpick peoples post for gramar - i dont think dude cares about a few miss spell words or not perfect english as long as he gets his answer

I don't really care about misspelled words or grammar either, actually. It's, as I said, all about ease of reading to me. Fifteen lines with no breaks at all was too much for me. In general, if there are breaks so the content is in smaller chunks, you get more responses.

A lot of people hit a post that's a big blob of text and skip it.

Glad I could help with the code thing. Between your list and the fake-link text it makes raiding much easier with good hotkeys. Thanks for passing it on. :)
 
Indeed, I just hate that every other patch or so my real fake links get messed up, irs too much ork to be different, but like you said, at least it helps with that
